You’re Invited Because You’re Known — Not Because You’re Good

Most people assume being “a good person” is enough. But in real life, you don’t get invited in because you’re good—you’re invited because you’re known. What if the same is true with God?

Honey Bee on flower

The kingdom of God is like the honey bee

(By Bob G) Some people perceive the kingdom as a hive of bees, where a select few bees diligently gather vast amounts of honey, while the rest buzz around the hive, celebrating these few workers. Some tasks seem to hold greater importance than others, and there exists a hierarchy. It could not be further from the truth.

New Shepard Blue Origin Space Flight

In a recent interview, the CEO of Blue Origin Space Flight, Jeff Bezos (Amazon), stated that the key to achieving great things is to be stubborn on the vision but flexible on the details. Blue Origin Space Flight has successfully allowed ordinary people to rocket 350,000 feet (100 km), past the Karman Line, into space using a reusable autonomous rocket. The "passenger capsule" detaches and goes beyond Earth's atmosphere until gravity pulls them back to Earth.

Why is the Kingdom of God like a pumpkin?

(Inspired by Stan the man and Nat)

Pumpkins are a wholesome staple food in many parts of the world. They are so versatile as they can be used in everything from scones to stir fries or even dips but that is not what makes a pumpkin a hero of this story.  Did you know that the Kingdom of Heaven can be like a pumpkin?

Baby Apricot Cutting

Ever been told you can’t do that? What would you know? You are too young; wait until you have learned more!

A good tree cannot help but produce good fruit! Under the right conditions, anyone can try to produce fruit no matter how small or young.

Newly prepared top soil for sowing grass

Good Foundations and Sowing Widely

For more than 10 years, I have been trying to renovate my house, but cracks in the walls keep appearing, and no matter how many times I fix the doors, they will not shut! The problem was that ¾ of the house had a sand foundation and ¼ was on clay. The pylons were only put in the ground about 6 inches, and there is a spring besides the house! For 10 years, I have tried to fix it from the top down. I failed, and it has cost me tens of thousands of dollars. I realised that there was no way around it; I had to dig out the foundations and do it from the ground up.
