The Good News of Jesus: Forgiveness, Resurrection, and New Life

We have explored Buddhism with care and respect. We have asked whether suffering needs escape or rescue, and what kind of future truly answers the human heart. Now it is time to speak plainly.

Christianity is not a philosophy, a technique, or a path of self-improvement. It is an announcement — good news about what God has done.

🌍 The Christian Starting Point

Christianity begins with a simple claim: there is one true God who created the world and made human beings for relationship with Him.

We were created for life, love, purpose, and truth — not for suffering, injustice, or death.

💔 What Went Wrong

Human beings chose independence over trust. We turned away from God and tried to define good and evil for ourselves.

This break is what the Bible calls sin — not just bad actions, but a broken relationship with the God who gives life.

Suffering, injustice, and death are the result of that rupture.

✝️ What God Did About It

God did not abandon the world. He came into it.

Jesus lived the life we failed to live — loving perfectly, speaking truthfully, and trusting God fully. He then willingly took upon Himself the consequences of human sin.

On the cross, Jesus bore guilt, injustice, and death — not as an accident, but as an act of love.

🌅 Why the Resurrection Matters

Jesus did not remain dead. His resurrection declares that sin has been dealt with, death has been defeated, and new life is possible.

This is not escape from the world. It is the beginning of its restoration.

🫶 The Invitation

Christianity invites a response — not ritual, not meditation, but trust.

To turn toward God honestly. To ask forgiveness. To receive new life. To begin following Jesus.

This is not about becoming religious. It is about being reconciled to the God who made you and loves you.
