vision casting

'Let the size of your Goals be guided by the size of your God!!' Rick Warren.

Our God is the creator of the universe. He created everything just by saying what he wanted. Wow. When you ask yourself what can I do for God? Are you thinking way too small? We may not be able to do much but He sure can. Think BIG. Expect BIG

I have spent a good chunk of my life around the desert. The first time I got posted out to these places I thought that nothing could ever live here nevertheless thrive. The gidgee tree and spinifex grass are the only things that will even try and grow in the driest places. Even they sometimes can’t get a hold.

I stayed long enough to see the first rains in an area for seven years and it was only a sprinkle overnight that didn’t even settle the dust. It lasted maybe 30 minutes. It was a very short-lasting celebration!

Vision casting is a crucial aspect of AIM training, often incorporated in the first 1/3 of a session. We often get asked how we encourage multiplication or why people are not achieving multiplication. The answer is usually simple. There is one facet that we can directly affect that can change the dynamics of an entire network more than anything else and that is giving them Vision. Let them see through Christ’s eyes, let them feel through the Father’s heart. Normally in the DMM/CPM world, we always say to cast the biggest vision that you can. Never reduce the vision to the manageable.

The two most important days in your life are the day that you were born and the day you find out why!

(Mark Twain)

You were born to glorify God and to expand the Kingdom.  You were born to bring everyone you love and care about safely to Him.  You were born to show people how much God loves them even if you are yet to know them!

You were born to know just how much He loves you!  He put others in your life to do the same for you!

A certain snail was particularly fond of peaches.  One day this snail decided to go in search of a peach tree.  He found such a tree and began to climb up the trunk slowly.  As he climbed, a bird came along and began asking questions.

"Where are you going?" asked the bird.

The snail replied, "I'm climbing this peach tree to get a peach."

"Silly snail," scolded the bird.  It's not the right season, there are no peaches on this tree!"

The snail replied, "Well by the time I get to the top, there will be peaches!"
