AIM Step 3: Multiplication of the Kingdom (Looking Forward, Matt 28:18-20)
This is perhaps the most important section of all. Without it - it is just another bible study. However this is where people tend to skip though or drop it altogether. PLEASE DON'T! Pair off into small groups of two to three to practice.
Suggested Practice Activities
*Practice teaching the new lesson or retell the Bible passage.
Design and practice out load your personal story. (Life before Christ. How you came to Christ. Life now following Christ. No more than 3 minutes long.)
Practice one form of the gospel presentation (like "the left handed gospel", Roman's Road, Creation to Christ, 7 C's, etc...)
Very Important:
Practice only one method until you can use it well in the field before moving onto another one! It's not a race.
Develop your people lists:
Identify people you know who are close to God. Pray for them. Pray for opportunities to train them and pray for boldness.
Identify people you know who are far from God at the moment. Pray for them and ask for opportunities to share with them.
Set Goals
*Set Goals for FISHING for People: With whom will you share the gospel with this week from your people list. Who will you train as a disciple maker this week.
*Pray for one another to be bold when witnessing. Pray for one another for protection.
Commissioning
(Go and Tell - 2 minute summary of the vision)
Restate the vision. Then with cheerful expectations send the disciples out to obey Jesus.
*Overall Prayer for their protection and for their boldness in the coming week.
