Step 2: Intimacy with God – Hear & Obey (1/3)
Read a Bible passage aloud (from 2 translations)
What does this say about God? ..About people? ..You?
What do you think God is saying to you personally?
Is God knocking at the door of your heart?
What do you need to do now?
Tip:
A good choice might be to study one of the “stories of hope” listed on the back of the F2 bookmark.
Don’t do all of them as that would be a marathon and probably would back fire. Just choose one or two that may mirror the people you are dealing with. If you choose wisely most people would have made a decision after about 3 sessions with one story per session.
At the end of the story or a suitable break in the session present them with a full gospel presentation once again and offer them the opportunity to accept it. Try not to use one that you have told them before. (For example if you used Romans Road before then try Creation to Christ this time. Mix it up.) For them to accept the gospel it must be presented in a manner that means something to them and that they fully understand. Different people may respond differently than you might. Think of it as everyone has a different love language and the good news love message has to match their love language before they can fully understand it. Or in another way, the Holy Spirit is slowly working away at their heart. Help Him out by prompting another question to tug at their heart.
