Come follow me and I will make you fishers of men

Casting nets

For (approximately) the first twenty-four years, I had heard 1248 sermons, attended 1248 home Bible studies, and sung (badly) about 3744 hymns, but how many people had I introduced to the Lord?

How much over those 24 years had I thought just about my needs and not about anyone else’s salvation and growth, let alone being a part of growing the Kingdom here on Earth?

Of all those years of knowledge and studies, how much of it did I actually obey and put into daily practice? Not much at all, really, when I think honestly about it!

How about you? What is your track record?

Very early on, Christ commanded in Mark 1:17, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men!” ESV

Would you like to find out how you can live a powerful and enriching life as a proper follower of Christ?

Would it not be great to lead someone to the Lord and be able to teach them what it really means to follow and grow in Christ (disciple them)? How much better would it be if they had the confidence and ability to lead someone else to the Lord and disciple them?

Come on, take the exciting challenge, and become a disciple who makes disciple makers!!

Obey this first strong and emotive command of your savior. (Mk 1:14–20 in Greek is very emotive: “Come, Now!” "All you people”... "immediately") We can show you how you can do it, and you can let the Holy Spirit make this happen! It is not hard, as Jesus will do all the hard work for you. You just have to love Him and want to follow him.
