AIM 'Camel2' Bookmarks are here at last! No more paper towels and serviettes! No more “I can't read your writing!"
Kevin Greeson graciously allowed his Camel Method of witnessing to Muslims be “chopped up” into bite sized pieces. These pieces or lessons can then be taught progressively over time. Say each week or fortnight. One at a time. But here is the kicker:
This is an OBEDIENCE based training and NOT KNOWLEDGE based training. Therefore you only progress a student (disciple) on to the next lesson when they are understanding and DOING the current one! It is not a ‘so you are here again this week here is the next instalment’. They must be doers of the word not just hearers! (Matt 28:19, 20; Jam 1:21-23).
First everyone get several “starter” bookmarks at the beginning of the course which also contains the first lesson. (They can share this with anyone they try to disciple).
They are then given subsequent lessons ONLY after they have gone out and used the previous lesson practically. If they are having trouble, keep them on that lesson until they master it! Then and ONLY then once they have mastered the last lesson and gone out to use it can you issue/allow access to the next one.
The "Final" bookmark has all the lessons on it. It can be given out when they come back and report on their experiences of trying out the final lesson. The exact order of the lessons is not really that important. It is not “our way is the only way” but it can’t be allowed to become a tick and flick exercise. They have to Model what they are trying to pass on. MAWL. Repeat the process with subsequent generations.
That is ONE reason why this section of the website has a password. To prevent students jumping ahead!
The other is that some people are working in difficult or dangerous places. This has a measure of a firewall for protection. Please be mindful of this and DO NOT give out the password to anyone that will not actually use it immediately - for the safety of others. Thank you.
